07:23 pm: Happy times :-)
I very rarely update this but thought I would today.

As long as I can remember I always wanted to settle down in the county with a bloke who I would be happy to stay in with and not have the feeling of missing out on anything by not going out partying.

I moved to Bungay as I had realised I was never going to meet the type of guy I wanted to settle down with in the City and it was the first step towards me getting the type of life I've always wanted.

It'm really loving living here, it's a good happy medium but I'd still like to move further into the sticks next year.

My dreams have already started to come ture, I have a really lovely boyfriend who is a farmer and lives in a lovely little village, has a lovely dog and a really nice family. He has a hot tub too! Can't wait to be able to sit out in it in the snow, looking up at the stars and getting pissed :-)

I'm happier than I have ever been before I think so thought it was time for an update. We'll both be out in the City soon, will have to try and catch up with everyone before Christmas.

05:01 pm: I'm back!
I've managed to get internet at my house! Yay!!

I am really loving living in Bungay and don't miss the City at all! I miss some of the great people there who I can't see as often now but I'm not missing the majority of it.

I'm saving loads of money - still going out every night but not spending anywhere near as much as I was.

I still have loads and loads of stuff I need to get rid of. Loads of my stuff is still in box's because I'm never here to sort it out but as soon as I find my camera or get my phone fixed I will be gettng loads of photo's of stuff up.

I am intending on going to Exile Sat 24th so hope to see most of you there and catch up on all the Norwich gossip!

01:07 pm: Massive clearout
I need to get rid of loads of stuff before moving. I'm going to try and go though everything by the end of the week and will get photo's of stuff to sell. But if anyone knows they like anything and would like to make me an offer, now's the time to get first dibs.


I'm getting rid of Clothes, boots, shoes, hair falls - the lot!

(I am going to keep a few really nice things back for the off times that I come back to the city for a night out but, that's prob just going to be 1 or 2 sets of falls, one paid of big boots, 1 corset etc. As I'm not going to have much storage space at all once I move out.)

11:24 pm: What a great weekend!
Friday I went to work in my PJ's because I was trying to get MJ tickets from 7am and didn't have time to get dressed and knew I could get away with it because it was Comic Relief day! lol Then I went to Lost Friday at the UEA and it was BRILLINAT! I can't believe I haven't been to one of the Lost nights because, it was one of the best nights I have ever been to at the UEA!

Sat I went into the City for Breakfast with a mate who was down from London for the weekend and then went to Soapbox at St Gregorys, then The Queen Charlotte, Havana's and then had a party at mine with a load a people from the site where Alex lives.

Today, following our over 12 hour partying session, I was VERY hungover but we were all supposed to be playing at the pub in Mendham so had to get up and go and play. We got lots of free drinks and food tho so that was good :-)

After that I went back to site with lovely Alex and he cooked for me and we watched a film then we all heading back to Norwich to go and play at the session at the Nelson.

I really have had such a fantastic weekend it's a real shame to be back to reality at home and having to go to work tomorrow.

I'm playing a gig at Mendham Tuesday tho for St Patrick's day and will be staying in Alex's van at Pig Lane again, he's playing a gig with Murphys tho so he might not be there too :-(

Friday I'm off to London and not coming back till Monday :-)

Can't wait, 2009 has really been one of the best years ever and the goodness just keeps going on and on :-)

I'm SO happy right now :-)

Everything has gone brilliantly so far this year, 2009 has been the best year for a long time!

Got loads of updating to do and will write a proper update soon.

03:23 pm: Happy New Year everyone!

I think I've recovered from NYE at last!

This year I'm going to try and be a bit more productive, still party lots but I'm going to try not to loose whole weekends to partying like I used to when I was with Monty.  Towards the end of 2008 I actually started getting things done at weekends and realised I can go out, go to bed then get loads done during the day as well.

I also started playing my flute again towards the end of 2008 and did a gig with my lovely friends 'Murphys Lore' and they have really inspired me to get back into it. I spent 6 and a half hours jamming with them this weekend, so the years off to a good start as far as that's concerned.

My final resolution is to make more time for seeing friends and catching up with people I don't see every often.

08:12 pm: Christmas

I had a really lovely Christmas, one of the best ones I've had for years!!

I went to Lowestoft when I left work at 5 Xmas Eve and didn't come back to Norwich till last night and that was only because I had to go to work today.

I got a wii and wii fit so spent lots of hours playing on that and went out every night too.  I went to a DUB night at The Triangle Sat night and it was brilliant! Loads better than I expected!

I had a jam with my friends who are in a folk band Sat afternoon and they asked me to play at a gig with them yesterday afternoon - so I did!

It was really good and has really encouraged me to get back into playing again, so looks like my new years resolution will be to play my flute every day. 

NYE should be good, I'm going to Indigo again because I had a fantastic time there last year and can't be bothered with dick heads in a club anywhere.

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!!

04:10 am: Hippy's!
Mandy had a great time tobight at the Shed seeing Murphys Lore. Rupert made it all up because he fancies me and Alex who I fancy doesn't think I'm a 'nut job' at all :-D

Ooops I really fancy him lots and lots and for various resons it can't happen.... Story of my life.

I really doesn't stop me from fancyng him tho or from arranging a date! Oh yes! I can't wat :-D :-D :-D

I have had such a wicked weekend!

All started Thursday when I went to Olives for Yum Yum's accoustic nght, which was as brilliant as ever.  Got dragged to the Mischeif after with Olly and bumped into the lovely Luck from TOA who tried to drag me to the Wild Man but I was very well behaved and went home. (It was gone 12!)

Friday  gave loads of cash to Children in Need by buying cakes and various other things..  Then got the train down to London, went to the Intrepid Foc then to see Rancid @ the Astoria. They were fantastic and I got given a set list at the end.  We then all went back to the Fox and when that closed at 2, Shoddy and everyone went back to Tristans but Alex said he knew the way to London Bridge and that it wasn't far so we started walking to SE1 to go to Subliminal Dischange.  2 hours later!!! We got there and they wanted us to pay £12 each to get in! So we didn't bother and just went to get the 1st train back.

Tonight I went to see the Kaotixx play at the Marquee with some other punk bands and I had a fantastic time and danced the whole time.  After that we went to the Waterfront which was shit! So we left there and went to the Wild Man then Havana's.  Havana's was brilliant. I don't usually go there but because Vicky works in a bar we got to jump the q. 

The most romantic thing ever happened to me last weekend and since then I have been mad about a hippy who lives in a van on a travelers site near Bungay.  Those who came to the Wild Man the 1st night of my Birthday celebrations may have met him.  It's all a bit complicated at the moment due to ex's but I am SO into him at the moment.  I always go for bad boys who are dick heads but this time I've really fallen bad for a real honest nice guy (nothing like my usual!) and for once when I'm with him Monty doesn't enter my mind at all!  Where as normally, I compare blokes to him and think what Monty would do in situations and how I'd rather be with him than them etc etc.

I really don't know if much more will go on with me & Alex at the moment but even if it doesn't he's helped me so much by showing me what sort of guy I could fall for next and how much better for me one like him would be rather than another one like Monty.

For now tho, my sights are set on Alex, just need to work on the ex situation......

12:17 am: I had a brilliant weekend but feel well rough now :-(

Will write a full update with a photo or two tomorrow.  It is offical tho, I must have lost the plot because I fancy a hippy! Haha He doesn't even live in a house!!

11:38 am: Update

I really am shit at updating this!

I had a really good time celebrating my birthday, thanks to everyone who made the 2 nights of partying such good fun.  Special thanks has to go to Rupert with his ukilally!  Live music, what more can a girl ask for, although when he played and singed Happy Birthday in the middle of the Wild Man it was a little embarrassing :-D

Spain was 'interesting' don't think I'll be going on holiday with Neal again hehe

On my actual Birthday we went out and got totally wasted and found a few good clubs and some bad ones! We went in this club called 'Kiss' and it was shit, the DJ was some long haired hippy playing really shit music and it was empty. In my drunken state, I though I would go and ask him to play something a bit better but he said no, he has to play that sort of music at that time and in a few hours he'd play what I asked for!  It was empty in there tho! So I told him that's why it's empty and him and is club is shit and maybe if he actually played stuff people wanted to hear people might stay for more than one drink!

There was a place called 'Bus Stop' which was good and my fav place was a really good club called 'Snoopy's'. It was a brillaint club and the music was spot on too - with lots of people!

We went to Port Aventura on my Birthday and they have some of the best rides I've ever been on! There were loads of rollercoasters and they were all fantastic. 

 

 This is Dragon Khan, it has 8 loops and goes at 110 km/h.

Another crazy ride there is Furius Baco, it goes from 0 to 135 km/h in 3 seconds. I actually thought my skin was comming off my face! Haha

I'm off to see The Distrupers at the King Eddie tonight then Wraith and then onto Hades. Is anyone else out? xx

11:27 pm: PARTY!!!!!
Hey, it has just been brought to my attention regular users of LJ may not be aware of my birthday celebration plans! Such as Gordon, Mikki, Gav & Wendy etc.

So, I thought I'd better put details on here too...


It's my Birthday next week but I'll be in Spain so I am going out THIS WEEKEND to celebrate with all my friends :-)

My plan is to go out Friday and Saturday nights so most people should be able to make it for at least one drink on one of the nights.

I'll be in the Wild Man from 8PM onwards both nights and will be playing the rest of the night by ear.

Hope you can call make it at least for one drink, will be really nice to be in a pub with people and able to hear each other talk rather than in a club like we usually all are!

01:18 am: What a weekend!
I've had such a fantastic weekend already! After work Friday I got a call asking me if I wanted to go to the Theatre to see Witches of Eastwick for free, so I went and was sitting upstairs in the most expensive section! It was brilliant and Marti Pellow has got hot!! Haha. My friend works backstage there and got the cast to all sign stuff for my Nan and wrote birthday messages etc - wicked!

After that I went round my friend Carly's and we all headed to the Pound Party at Mustard which was as brilliant as always and as I was celebrating I got well and truly ruined! Which led to me ending up not getting home until 3pm today - not good when I had to get to Nanny's 80th Birthday Party by 7!

The party went really well and Nanny and her twin brother had a fantastic time, loads of the family came so there was about 50 of us there. It was great seeing people I haven't seen for years too, we worked out that it was 15/16 years since I'd last seen some of them!

I'm really loving being single again too :-D I've been invited to go round someone's for a roast and then to the cinima tomorrow. I said I'd go because I've been out with him a few times now and we get on really nice and he's said to me that he's really enjoying my company at the moment and has a really good time whenever he sees me but I'm still a bit unsure about it. I knew him as a friend before and I'm not sure if I actually want to be anything more than friends with him. I guess time will tell :-)

Neal's asked me to see him tomorrow too because he still wants us to get back together, so I've told him again that we can be friends but that's all right now.

I really like another guy at the moment too but he's a REAL player which is making me way more attracted to him than I should be! Haha. I don't get how I'm ever going to get another boyfriend, I love the chase and the challenge of blokes but when they give in it's just boring! lol That's probably why I was with Monty so long, even after 3 and a half years he still never gave in and the challenge was still there haha.

Right, should go to bed really, doing more family stuff tomorrow before returning to the big city for my date :-)

05:38 pm: New job!!!
I applied and had an interview for the complaints team a few weeks ago and this morning they offered me the job :-)

I start a week Monday and I'll be working in the same team as Chris Peters! Haha

Other good news - I'm still going to Spain for my birthday, not sure who with yet, probably Neal still however he has said if one of my friends wants to give him the money they can come rather than him but anyone who I'd want to be in Spain with on my birthday can't afford it.

And, I've just had a call asking if I want to watch the Witches of Eastwick at the Theatre Royal tonight for free! Today just keeps getting better.

I've got a few photo shoots booked for this month too, 2 are this Sunday but if it's going to keep raining I don't think we'll be able to :-(

05:56 pm: 2 tickets to V at Highlands Park, Chelmsford
I have 2 tickets for both days of the V Festival at Highlands Park, Chelmsford for sale, as me & my ex really don't want to go together.

I'd really like to get as back something close to what I paid for them, which was £320 in total but I'd be willing to accept good offers.

04:33 pm: Delayed post

I've been meaning to put up a post about Glasto since we got back and just haven't had time and now there's loads more stuff I need to write about too.

Me & Monty had a brilliant time at Glastonbury and he really enjoyed his birthday. We saw some really good bands but I can't remember half of them now! The Levellers were great and the Verve really rocked but I think my fav of the weekend was CSS on the Sat night, they were fantastic! 

I have some pic's on my phone that I'll be putting up on myspace & facebook when I get a chance - I have one of Monty in shorts, he really does have legs! I think that pic deserves to go on here too for those of you in the dark ages who haven't given in to the addictivness of facebook or myspace yet lol

I have more stuff to write about but will do that later as I haven't got time now xx

11:19 pm: Housemate needed!
I'm moving out of Dan & Tarn's in a few months to let them live as a real couple rather than having to share with me :-)

I haven't actually got anywhere to go or anyone to live with at the moment tho, does anyone know of anyone looking for someone to take a room in their house, or anyone looking for someone to rent with?

I liked the idea of getting somewhere on my own but there's no way I can afford that at the moment.
