09:11 pm: Little update :-)
New job

I started working at RBS yesterday, it's going really well so far and the 8 other people in my training group are all really nice.

I've got my first exam tomorrow, I have to get over 80% but I'm not too worried about it. It's going to be all based on all the tech info about the One Account and I think I should be able to pass ok.

We did lots of our training sitting outside in the sun today which was well nice, we only went in when we had to use a PC or watch a Video.

Also, when we were about to watch a video this afternoon an ice cream van stopped outside so we all had 99's with flakes while we had to sit inside watching it! This is clearly a better job than my last one :-D

Love life

Talking of my last job.... one of the really nice lads I used to work with has told me that he has always faniced me and is VERY keen to take me out :-D    He is really lovley and I so would! However, Me & Monty are supposed to be just friends but I still love him loads and always seam to end up back with him everytime I get a new bloke because he clicks his fingers. So I'm not doing anything about it just yet.

Modeling

I was really pleased with how my first real attempt at modeling went last week :-D I've got one more disc of pictures to come then I will have seen them all. I'm really glad my friend Kat suggested setting up some profiles and got me in to it because I really enjoyed it. I'm not sure when I'll be able to do some more, as I don't really know when I'll be able to fit it in around my new job.

06:04 pm: Last day

It's my last day at Open Contact tomorrow! I can't believe how quickly it's come round.

I'm going out to celebrate leaving with my friends from work tomorrow night and anyone else who would like to come along is welcome to join us.

We're meeting in the Glass House at 8.30/9 and then going to the Waterfront (dressed as Pirates) for Pirate 90's night and Roobarb!

I'm not starting at RBS until after the Bank Holiday, I can't wait! I already know a few people who work there. It's less hours, better shifts, better paid, more holiday and I don't have to work Sunday's or Bank Holidays and it will only be the odd Sat morning that I have to work. There will also be a lot more chance for progression than there is at OC.

The people I work with at the moment are all so nice though, I really am going to miss them all and I'm sure there will be quite a few tears tomorrow! Although I'm glad to be going to a better job, I am sad to be leaving all my friends. I'll stay in touch with most of them anyway though as we go out practically every month! lol

03:41 pm: What a productive week!

I went to see my friend Kat this week because we had ordered a load of crin between us to make some falls and it was really nice seeing her for a few hours and having a really good catch up. She has been doing some really nice shoots and getting paid really good money for them! She was showing me her profile on a couple of modeling sites and said I should set some up too.

I wasn't going to but thought I'd just set up a profile and see what sort of response I get and I got 2 offers of shoots before I'd even finished uploading all my pic's! So I set up my profile on a couple of other sites and I now have 3 shoots confirmed and another 3 in planning!

I've been ill the last few days and didn't make it to the Waterfront last night, so although I'm still not very well, I'm going to try and make it to Pams tonight but I'm not going to be drinking. I've spent this afternoon making some new falls from the crin we got so I have 2 nice shiny sets of new falls. I've just got to pick what ones to wear tonight now!

01:27 am: Party news!
Haven't really done much since my last post when I had 2 days off, however, thought I would post anyway as I have 'party news' :-D

My last day working at OC is Friday 25th April and I'll be going out that night to celebrate leaving. I think the plan at the moment will be to go to the Waterfront for 90's night and Roobarb, not sure where 1st yet. Everyone's welcome not just work people.

Who's out this weekend? I'm not sure about Sin Tech tomorrow yet, Sat I'll be at the Queen Charlotte - I haven't got a clue what I'm going to wear yet tho. I don't want to wear the same thing as I wore to TG, I've got a few outfits in mind but I guess I'll change my mind loads on the day as usual! Haha.

01:09 am: Weekend

Dispite having to work 10-7 Sat & Sunday this weekend, I still had quite a nice one.

Friday night we had a massive work night out to the Play House then the Waterfront for 90's Night/Roobarb. Loads of peolpe came out and we all had a brilliant night, I was a little hung over as were a few other people who were in but only one light wat had to go home sick lol!

Sat we went to Wraith at the Waterfront then Hades which was ok appart from the fire alarm going off :-(

Last night was really good, I thought me & Monty were going to the Glass House for a Roast when I finished work but that didn't happen. So I went down the Glass House to meet everyone but it was after 9 so I couldn't have a roast but I still had tea there, so I was a hapy girl :-)

We then went to the 10 Bells till they closed and then back to Champs Penthouse for a party. For a Sunday night it was all rather mental but it was the start of my weekend as I had today and tomorrow off work so I was happy!

I had a really nice day off today in the sun and tomorrow I think I will mostly be shopping! Yay!!!

One bad thing tho.... the internet at our house isn't working so I can only get on line when I take my laptop round Monty's, this then leads to him bidding on lots of things on ebay and means I have to go to the Royal Mail most days picking all the crap up that he buys!

I got the job! I start at RBS 6th May and will be doing the One Account :-D

12:35 am: Pre weekend update

I had my interview at RBS this morning, it went quite well and the people and place was really nice and it's somewhere I'd really like to work. They said I'd find out if I have been successful or not in 7-10 days! That's ages away!

Who's out this weekend? Roobarb at the Waterfront tomorrow should be really good, loads of my friends from work are coming and Kat and Chunk are supposed to be coming too. John F is playing at 80's nite at Hades Sat so we will probably go there too.

05:08 pm: Back to Black
After tryingt to grow the black out of my hair for the last couple of months so I could dye it purple I gave in and dyed it black again this afternoon.

I know it shouldn't make any difference at all but I thought black hair would look a bit better for my interview Thursday rather than purple. Never mind, maybe I'll go purple in a couple of months instead.

I've had a quite nice Easter weekend really, eventhough it didn't go as planned!

Thursday we went to the Marquee, Media then Hades and I had quite a good time and made some new friends.

I had to work Friday then I went round Monty's Friday night and I think we stayed in together.

Sat we went into the city together then went to the Marquee to See our friends band play went to Hades for Mostly Harmless. I discovered that starting drinking so early in the evening is not a godd thing and the 3 shorts of absinthe that I had in the Marquee wasn't such a good idea either!

After Hades we ended up back at Alex's and I've no idea what time we left there but when we got back to Monty's we then stayed up drinking and having fun for the rest of the day and ended up missing Pams House in Yarmouth! Also, we ended up missing the whole of yesterday too because we spent the whole day just sitting in front of the tv watching films.

Today has been a bit more productive I'm pleased to say.

Right, we're going out for dinner tonight so I have to get ready x

I'm really rubbish at keeping this thing!

I am going to try to update this more regular, however, it's not the first time I've said that. I just never really see the point of writing on here. You all know I go out partying every weekend and I normally see you all there and you get a real 'face to face' update. But I will try.....

I have actually got some news too!

I applied for a job I came accross on line when I was bored a couple of weeks ago at RBS and thought no more of it, then I received a call from them saying they are really interested in my application and wanted me to call and do a telephone interview which should take about half an hour. I called them and it went well and they then invited me to attend a face to face interview. Result! 

Also, I have been approached by a couple of photographers about doing some photoshoots which is a bit exciting. I'm not sure the sort of thing they want me to do is really my thing but it's all good experiance and I'm sure it will be fun!

We're just in the early stages of planning them at the moment but I'll try to make sure I put an update on here when we've sorted it out. The main problem at the moment is my shifts. As I usually finish work at either 7 or 9 PM it's a bit late to be getting ready and taking pictures unless we want to be up till the early hours taking them!

(I know there is the weekend but going out and having a good time with my friends is way higher on my agenda than posing in front of a camera!)

Is anyone/everyone out over the Easter weekend??

I'm planning to go out every night at the moment. Let me know any plans you have and we'll try and arrange to be at the same place at some point! (I will be having a night out in Gt Yarmouth - I know, I'd much rather be somewhere else). My 2 Fav DJ's are playing, Adam from Lab 4 (who gave me his no last time I saw him!!) and Proteus are playing for Pams House.

That will have to do for now as I have to get up for work in the morning.

Oh, actually, one more thing....

Is anyone going to any festivals this year? Me and Monty have got tickets for V and we have registered for Glasto tickets in the hope that we'll get tickets again this year.

I'd quite like to go to Invest for the first time this year too maybe.

12:01 am: 1st day off for ages
I went into the city shopping today for the first time since before Christmas, I had a brilliant time!

The best thing I got was a new phone - yay :D It's a purple Sony Ericson. I also came home with a new belt, some tops, make up, purfume, jewellery, more zebra print leggins and hair. There were a few more things too that I can't remember now.

I met Monty in the city then we went to the pub and I've only just got home.

We're off to see Hot Chip tomorrow and the thing at the Showground Sat, is anyone else going to either of these? xx

04:15 pm: Clothes for sale
I've been through my wardrobe and sorted out some things to sell at last. I've got loads bags of clothes I need to go through, so there will be more to come soon.

I have no idea what to ask for things, so please just make offers :-D

01:29 am: What a mental week...
 I can't believe how much I've managed to do this week.

Monday I met up with a very old mate from NU, eventually! We were supposed to meet in the Glass House but I was early so I sent a text to say I know people djing in the Mischief so I'd go and wait in there. I went in and got a drink only to realise Mikki, Gorden & Simon weren't there and the only people in the pub that I knew were Monty, Wayne & Gary. So I had to ask them if I could join them while I drank my drink as quick as I could and sent another text to say meet in the Glass House after all.

I finished my drink and got to the Glass House, sat down to pick something to have for tea and called my mate to say where I was, to be told that they've just got a drink and were looking for me at the Mischief! What a nightmare. In the end we managed to meet up and I got my tea - I was starving by this point and the fun began from there really.

We went to Orgasmic's and I bumped into some girls from work then we went to the Wild Man to see some 'real' men rather than the suited twats in Orgasic's. After we'd been in there a while my friend Champ turned up and asked me where Monty was because he was supposed to be meeting him there - GREAT.

Loads of my other friends had turned up by that point tho so it was ok, Monty left after a while and the rest of us carried on to Delaneys where I bumped into more people I knew and some how it was 5 AM before I made it to bed! It was a really good night tho.

Tuesday I was supposed to get loads done but the day was half gone when I got up. I did have a check up at the Dentist though and he said everything is fine and I just need another check up in 6 months time, so that was good news.

Wed I had to get the rest of my things from Monty's so I spent all day sorting out my room making space to put things and tidying and sorting all the boxes and bags off stuff I hadn't actually done anything with since I moved in. After taking loads of my stuff there was still loads more, so I did as much as I could in my room last night before falling asleep and I had to go and get the rest tonight after work.

I went and got the rest of it tonight and Monty came round to help me re-build a bookcase I had to take apart to get up the stairs the night before but as soon as he started all the lights went off. We turned everything back on from the fuse box but somethings gone wrong in my room and the lights don't work anymore :-(

Undefeated I've carried on and done as much as I can tonight and will do some more after work tomorrow before Lucy comes round to get ready for Chains with me.

I feel I deserve a decent night out after all that and it's going to be great because loads of people that don't usually come to Chains are coming - yay!
 

07:02 pm: Industrial locations in Norwich

I'm having a photo shoot soon and need to find a good 'industrial' location we can use. I was thinking machinery, oil drums metal 'things' etc...

Can anyone suggest anywhere? It doesn't have to be in Norwich because I have a car, but I don't want to have to travel too far.

05:53 pm: Happy New Year Everyone!

I had a really good NYE in the end. We had Kat, Chunk, Don, Mikki, Jim, Colin, Tom, Faith, James, Kerri & Danni round last night for new year drinks and games, then I left ours about 11 to get down to Indigo (yeah the tattoo and piercing shop!) for Gemma's party. When I got there it was in full swing and loads of my frinends were there which was great. Olly turned up about 12.30 too which was nice. After the party at Indigo we went back to Colin & Champs for a bit then Nic & Chris called to see if we were still up and partying, so we headed to John & Kellys party then after checking they were still up. When we got there, they still had Carly & James, Jo, Danny B and Danny & Lorraine there. Then after John & Kelly's we went back to Chirs & Nic's while we waited for Emily and everyone to get back from Martin & Izyy's, then we headed round there to finish our new year celebrations! 

I was really pleased that in the end I actually got to see just about everyone I wanted to!

I'm not making any resolutions but have made a few promises for things in 2008.......

My life in 2008 is not going to revolve around or have much to do with Monty at all! If we bump into each other when we're out then that's one thing, but I am not going to be actually making any plans to go anywhere with him.

Also, I am going to make a real effort to try and see more of my friends I don't see much of these days.

12:15 am: Christmas!

I had a most excellent Christmas in Lowestoft and Winterton & then Martin & Izzy's Boxing Day.

I got a digital Camara off my parents, which I was supposed to buy with the money they gave me last Christmas (which I sepnt on a corset!). I also got the Dresden Dolls live at the RoundHouse DVD (the gig I was at!) which I'm watching now - it's brilliant.

I had to work Xmas eve, but spending the day with Olly and my frinds playing games, eating all day and getting paid for it was cool!

Today was pretty much the same really, I had to work till 9PM, but we had Pizza from Pizza Hut at lunchtime and Olly was working till 9 too :D

I've still got no idea what to do New Years Eve. Everyone is doing different things :(

I need to decide soon tho, before everywhere sells out!

Chris is doing Wraith at the Waterfront, so I thought about going there and then to John & Spikes. Anyone else doing that?? x

I don't think I've actually read any books this year, other than training material at work written by Tarn! (All brilliant of couse!)

Um, I can't remember when I 'discovered' bands.....

My greatest bands of 2007 were:

The Dresden Dolls, The Killers, Brighteyes, Arcade Fire, The Horrors, The Waterboys, The Who, Manic Street Preachers, Sex Pistols, The Damned, Jarvis Cocker, The Strange Death of Liberal England.

And I saw them ALL live this year!!! (I actually saw The Dresden Dolls, Brighteyes, Arcade Fire & The Horrors twice!!)

Um, I got most things I wanted I think....

As above, I can't think of anything I wanted & didn't get.

Also, loads of people came out for birthday drinks with me at the Mischief then Roobarb at the Waterfront. Oh, I was 25.

More Money!

I'm to busy worrying about where I'm going every night and what I'm wearing too be bothered about politics!

No one really, I just get in the car and go see anyone I want to!

07:00 pm: This Week

I had this week off to do Xmas shopping which I didn't start until today!

Monday night I went to see the Damned at the Waterfront and went backstage afterwards and got lots of stuff signed and some photo's too.

Tuesday I was supposed to be doing Xmas shopping but met Olly as soon as I got in the city and we went for something to eat then ended up in the pub!
Tuesday night I was babysitting my nice & nephew so sister & her other half could go to their Xmas party.

This morning my nice, woke me up quite early, so I went to a few shops, brought myself 4 pairs of shoes & a belt in the first one! Then went to Lowestoft to deliver Xmas cards and see family. (I've left the shoes, belt, a cyberdog top & a skirt in Low to be wrapped up for Xmas for me. (So I don't feel so naughty!)

Tonight I'm going to the Arts Centre to see the Pistolas, because I went to collage with one of them (George).

Tomorrow I'm heading into the city to try and do more Xmas shopping, but I am also meeting Olly again, so I may not get that much done......

Tomorrow night I'm going to the £1 Party at the Mustard Lounge, then the Arts Centre again Friday before Chains on Velvet at the Waterfront.

So much for a week off!
